The Manchester Women's Club is invited to attend the annual Breakfast with Champions, scheduled for 7:30am on Thursday, October 17 at The Riverview in Simsbury. Breakfast With Champions is held in observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, raising awareness for the cause and honoring those who advocate for Interval House and its mission of ending domestic violence. The event also raises vital dollars to fund the agency’s life-saving services for victims in Manchester and 23 other towns.
This year’s Breakfast will be co-chaired by The Honorable Shari Cantor, Mayor of West Hartford, and The Honorable Marcia LeClerc, Mayor of East Hartford, and will celebrate the members of Men Make a Difference, Men Against Domestic Violence™ on the occasion of the group’s 10th anniversary.
The breakfast is free to attend, so 100% of all donations made by guests at the event will fund services for victims. This is an extraordinary opportunity to make an enormous impact on our work helping victims escape from the insidious threats of violence and the constant fear that riddle their daily lives.
The program will wrap up by 9am so everyone can get to work at a reasonable time!
